Welcome to the 2012 Baseball Season!  Registration begins 1/28/12.  Details are posted in the events section.


We are in need of volunteers to fill vacancies for the Board of Directors for the 2012 season.  We have many jobs available to fit your schedule.  Anyone interested, please call Gary 716-908-3307.

  The following provides details on all baseball bats approved by Babe Ruth League, Inc. for 2012 local league and tournament play. Such descriptions will be included as part of the 2012 Babe Ruth League Rules and Regulations.

 CAL RIPKEN BASEBALL DIVISION

 

 The bat may not exceed 33”in length, and the bat barrel may not exceed 2 ¼” in diameter.  Only 2 ¼” barrel non-wood bats marked BPF 1.15 will be allowed. Wood 2 ¼” barrel bats are allowed.

13-15 BASEBALL DIVISION

The bat may not exceed 34” in length, and the bat barrel may not exceed 2-

5/8” in diameter. All aluminum/alloy barrel bats and all composite handle (only) aluminum/alloy barrels are allowed. Only composite barrel bats certified and marked BBCOR .50 will be allowed. Wood barrel bats conforming to the specifications of Official Baseball Rule 1.10 are allowed.

 

16-18 BASEBALL DIVISION

The bat may not exceed 34” in length and the bat barrel many not exceed 2-

5/8” in diameter or be greater than a -3 length to weight ratio. Only composite bats certified and marked BBCOR .50 are allowed. Wood barrel bats conforming to the specifications of Official Baseball Rule 1.10 are allowed.

Registration for players will be held from 10:00am-1:00pm. NTHS Alumni Student Activity Center Lobby, 405 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda.

Enrollment Costs for 2012

$110 per Individual Player
($90 per T-Ball Player)
$185 max per Family of 2 Players
$225 max per Family of 3 or More Players

Parents will be able to recoup $25 per Child ($50 max per family) by selling raffle tickets toward our League fundraiser. Tickets will be distributed by team managers at your team’s first practice.


Age Groups
T-Ball - 4 - 6 year olds
Rookie - 6 - 8 year olds
Minors - 8 - 10 year olds
Majors - 10 - 12 year olds
Seniors - 13 - 15 year olds
Big League - 16 - 18 year olds

Major 11-12 Player EvaluationsMar 3 2012 9:00AMNT High School - Old Gym

Player evaluation for all players not already assigned to a team from last year in the Major 11-12 division will be held on Saturday March 3rd at 9:00am at the NT High School Old Gym at 405 Meadow Dr.  All participants should wear shorts or sweats, sneakers, and a protective cup and bring a mitt and bat. (Bats will be provided if you do not have your own).
